Hi, I'm Jolie! I am a Michigan-based Artist inspired by nature—that is one of the main reasons I call my art business "Wild Soul Studios". I love to spend as much time outdoors exploring locally or going on big adventures & I use those experiences to fuel my creations. Aside from that, my art has always been more on the wild-side with crazy colors & subject matter & also all over the place with styles & mediums. In the recent years, it has become more & more focused on my love for the outdoors.

 

As of 2023, I decided I wanted to make my art into clothing. I started with having my art printed & embroidered onto tees, hats & crewnecks. A little bit later that year, I decided I wanted to also be able to hand-printed items as a way to be more connected to the clothing I was making. Thinking back to my printmaking class in college, I decided to take up block printing again­—which is creating hand-carved stamps, generally out of wood, rubber, or linoleum & then rolling ink on them & hand-pressing them. I fully fell in love with this process of decorating clothing & went all in. I have spent most of my creative time in 2024 doing this. Between conceptualizing designs, to drawing & carving them out, to picking out unique items to print on, to printing the items by hand... And then spending many weekends traveling & setting up for art shows. The way I have decided to bring my prints to life is neither the easiest or most economical, but it the most meaningful to me—& I have decided that is what is most important for me to pursue. 

 

I love being able to share my creations with others. I aim to make the world more beautiful & art-filled while connecting with people who also love nature & adventure. It is amazing to see so many people from all kinds of backgrounds, with many different beliefs all be able to connect on the one thing we all share—which is the beautiful world we live in. Seeing this has made me even more passionate about what I am doing. It is truly an honor to be able to do what I do & I am so happy to be able to share it with you.
